Hi there, Allison! You'll want to knead your dough until you have a soft and smooth dough that is bouncy when you press on it. You can do this by hand or with a mixer, the amount of time this takes will depend on the speed and vigor of the kneading so rather than going by a specified amount of time, we recommend going by how the dough looks and feels. You're welcome to bring the dough together with a mixer and then knead it by hand if you'd like or you can do the entire process by hand or machine, which ever you prefer!
