Sandy, the inspiration for this post was a time when I ended up in a situation like yours. I had cream scones in mind, come to find there was no usable cream to be found. I'm glad this post helped you out when you found yourself in a pinch. If you have a biscuit recipe that calls for cream (like our Never-Fail Biscuits), you're welcome to try using this same butter and milk swap. Also, you might want to check out this article about using different fats and liquids in biscuits to see all the other ingredient options you have.
