Nice post and it came in handy today. I was planning on making cream scones but after I had put the dry ingredients together I found that my cream was spoiled. So using this site I converted to milk and butter. I used your tip of melting the butter and combining with the milk (I really don't like cutting butter into flour - one of my least favorite baking tasks). Melting the butter in milk was great. Thanks for the tip. Do you think it would work for making biscuits too?
