My appreciation for scones as recently grown. In the past I have assumed they were dry and flavorless like a biscuit. However, I have a few friends who love baking and I'm learning that scones are a delight! This past weekend my friend made scones from a KAF box mix. They were flavorful and had a nice texture. I was also introduced to the combo of clotted cream and lemon curd! Wowzers...what a treat! I suppose I could search more on your website but could you quickly explain the difference between scones and biscuits? I do remember reading a thorough biscuit post in the past which had great comparison pictures similar to this one.
