Thanks for this post! The King Arthur Cream Scone recipe is our family favorite, but I’m glad to see the butter/milk option. Since we’re empty nesters now, I prepare the full batch of scones, but freeze some unbaked. Freshly baked scones on a Sunday morning with no effort!
