Hi Carl! It should be just fine to let your dough rise in the oven, just be sure you don't forget it's in there and start pre-heating the oven! We'd recommend keeping a close eye on your dough the first time you do this to ensure it doesn't over-proof, which can happen faster than expected in a warmer spot. When letting dough rise it's best to go by how the dough looks rather than just by the time given in the recipe — you want to be able to press gently on the loaf with a lightly floured finger and see your indent spring back slowly.
