I have used yogurt and sour cream as substitutes for buttermilk for years. I feel that the taste of sour cream mimics the buttermilk flavor better than yogurt. And a small container of sour cream is usually on sale for $0.99 as opposed to Greek yogurt which is $1.25. Thank you for running this experiment.
