I too had exact issues then started with rye flour 25grams and 25 grams of filter water that was 75 degrees. I feed it one time a day again same flour and water. I do this 5-7 days and I keep it in oven with only light on and door cracked open. I keep inside oven no warmer than 75 degrees. I think you’ll be happy with th is. I was I am
