Jenny, it's tough to say without more details, but there are a few different reasons why a cake might be sticky. An oven temperature that's a bit too low, too much sugar in the cake batter, or a slightly underbaked cake are a few different possibilities. We'd love to chat with you to troubleshoot more specifically, though!
