It does indeed, Errign! Prepare the batter as written and bake at 350°F for about 25 to 28 minutes. It will make between 24 to 30 cupcakes. (You'll end up with closer to 30 if you use a level muffin scoop). Consider increasing the frosting by 1 1/2 if you want generously frosted cupcakes or would like to pipe the frosting; otherwise, use about 1 1/2 tablespoons (28 to 32 grams) of frosting per cupcake.
