Diana, that's an excellent question! We found that removing the parchment when you turn the cakes out of the pans is the easiest. Simply flip the pan upside down onto a plate, peel the circle of parchment from the bottom (temporarily the top) of the cake, and gently flip the cake back onto the cooling rack. Happy baking!
