this was my first attempt at candy making, came out tasty. I did add the baking soda, used thermometer but still not as crunchy as the butter crunch my mom bought every year from her co-worker who put her kids through college selling her excellent butter crunch during the holidays annually. more baking soda? other suggestions? thanks for demystifying candy making, definitely much easier than cookies!
