Just one problem. My chocolate separated from the toffee on about half of it. I made this for Christmas gifts and it tastes wonderful. I made it with the suggestions using chocolate on the bottom only. I did as directed and put the chocolate chips on the bottom, heating them for just a few minutes in a 250 degree oven and then spreading them in an even layer before pouring the properly cooked toffee on top and then the nuts. Next time I think I will do it toffee first, then chocolate, then nuts. Why does it separate when I break or cut it?
