Hi! I'd love your help with a problem I run into every time I make toffee. I make it in the microwave with a simple butter, sugar, and salt recipe. I've made it at a few different elevations, and years apart, but every time I get these little pockets in my toffee that are full of the leftover butter/grease. (at least that's what I think it is, it's soft and white). I drain the butter each time, don't stir it, and pour it straight out. My mom makes it every year and doesn't have this problem. Other than that it sets up well, snaps well, and tastes good. Any suggestions?
Also, super excited to try your recipe, especially with the ground nuts! Thanks!
