Hello. I tried the panettone recipe twice now and both times it came out dry. My mom used to make it wonderfully. But she is no longer here for me to ask. I did not use the gold yeast. I also might not have let it knead enough in the stand mixer as I was afraid of over kneading. (Did I mention I have not done well with yeast in the past!) I am tempted to pull it from the oven early, but I know the temp is supposed to reach 190. Help! I want to make it as well as my mom did.
