There is not a reason in the world you need to use dental floss. For 30 years baked cinnamon rolls with all types of dough: brioche, babka, danish,etc. Get a sharp knife, slight tug and slice away. Really? Did anyone ever say: "Hey these rolls are awesome - bet you used dental floss to slice them." Or maybe: "Wait a minute, those rolls don't look or taste right. You should have used dental floss." And I say this with all the love of baking in the world.
