Is it possible to fully bake a pumpkin pie a few days in advance and then freeze it? We are traveling and arriving at the home of the dinner host on Wednesday, the day prior to Thanksgiving . I would like to take the pumpkin pie fully baked in order to avoid oven use conflicts. If freezing is not advised then I will make arrangements to bake it the day prior to our trip and pack the pie in a cooler for the trip.
