We had Thanksgiving with multiple pies one year to decide what we liked best. Condensed milk pie one hands down. This year I may try Nog pie though. It sounds so good. I dislike both milk and eggs but I love me some nog. Resting the filling sounds like a bright idea as well. Thanks for the suggestions King Arthur.
