Hi Barb, I had a very healthy standard-sized starter, and then tried to switch to smaller starter. But I made the mistake of creating my smaller starter from when it had been in the fridge for a few days, instead of right after a feeding. Now my starter is a lot thinner and I am not getting the same rise I used to. Do you have any tips? First time baking with the smaller starter, I kept feeding it for some extra days, to try to get the vigor up, but the rise still isn’t what it used to be.
I can’t believe I messed up my starter! I didn’t know how good I had it..
THANK YOU!!
