Hi, I have been following the feeding schedule for refrigerated starter in BREAD, by Jeffrey Hamelman. I also maintain a small amount. This works very well for the 1xweek baker. I did some experiments comparing a starter fed daily & kept at room temp. vs refrigerated. I think I went for about a week & saw no difference in the starter or the bake.
