I was scared of this pan. I thought it would turn out as a sticky mess. But, I just made the simple rich chocolate cake (half a recipe filled 5 of the 6 skulls) in it, and they are amazing! I lightly greased the skull pan with a little vegetable oil then dusted it with cocoa powder, making sure to tap out the excess powder. The skulls came right out of the pan and the definition of the features the mold left is incredible! I just had to trim a bit of the bottom so they sit flat.
