I do refrigerate the shaped pretzels prior to the lye, for about 30 minutes. Then I immediately dunk in the lye. Should I avoid refrigerating? Or let them rest at room temp only (no refrigeration) before putting in the lye. [not sure if this comment got posted previously so sent it again]
