Hi Niyah, it sounds like apple cider concentrate may already be pretty close to the equivalent of boiled cider, so it may not need cooking down at all. If it doesn't seem as thick as the consistency described, I would imagine cooking time will be much shorter and you'll need to keep a good eye on it, heat on low, and stir often to be sure it doesn't burn.
