This one is definitely a "low-and-slow" process. It needs to simmer for a good couple of hours, and then, by the fifth hour, make sure you stir it often so it doesn't start to scorch. You're looking for a similar consistency to honey, if that helps a bit. It's a process, but the end results are worth it. Hopefully that helps a bit. Thanks so much for reaching out!
