No this can not be made in a 'pressure cooker' of any kind. You are evaporating off the excess water and it just takes time.
Does anyone know if this can be substituted for light corn syrup in a soft chew candy recipe with target temp of 245°f. 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 3/4 cup sugar and color & flavoring of choice. Using a triple strength Sour Apple extract to flavor and was hoping to use the cider syrup for deeper flavor.
