Hi there, Katie! We're sorry to hear that your boiled cider didn't turn out quite right. If the cider used was unfiltered, it'll be less consistent. Because you did see that the cider was thickening slightly, we'd recommend trying to boil the cider longer to achieve the consistency we have here. We hope this helps and happy baking!
