It'll absolutely vary from cider to cider depending on how much processing and filtering the orchards put the cider through. If there's a good bit of setiment at the bottom of the jug from the start, there's definitely a good chance that it'll require a lot of filtering later on during the boiling process. (Though the flavor is probably incredible.)
