i'm not king arthur but i do have a minuscule amount of experience on pies. tip one. par bake your crust. tip two. some fruit has too much liquid. either macerate and thicken the remaining liquid(if you want to use) with starch, or precook with sugar/sweetener and cook further with some starch for a couple minutes. tablespoon seems to be proper amount
