I invested in some lovely leaf lard recently. Now I am wondering, can I use it interchangeably with the crisco or butter/crisco combo? Does a 1/2 cup lard equal 1/2 cup shortening?

My freezer and pantry shelves look like a backdrop for a KAF commercial!
