Vinegar and vodka are both great ingredients many bakers use in pie crust, Linda. In fact, we have a whole blog article dedicated to vinegar in pie crust we think you'll find interesting. It does condition the dough a bit but it also keeps it from oxidizing and turning grey as it rests in the fridge.
