I made a bar cookie back when my daughter was in grade school and cut and froze the squares in plastic baggies and would put the frozen bars in her lunch. They thawed nicely by lunch time. One day she came home and with the wisdom of a six year old told me the bars with edges got too dry when they were frozen. After that we enjoyed the bars from the edge of the pan for dessert at home. No more complaints. Just a thought.
