Hi there,
I am only new to the decorating of cakes, have no experience at all ! I have tried 3 different kinds and have not like any of them. I like sugar and like cream, but buttercream nearly made me sick, way too sweet and sickly. I would prefer something that has some sweetness, but not too sweet and something that will hold its shape for a few days. I have been thinking that there must be something that is light and fluffy, slightly sweet and holds its shape well. I figured something with gelatin in it should work? Have you had much experience with that in summer? I live in New Zealand and we are just heading into summer. Would love to get into this, but i need to find something that works for warm days, holds its shape and is not overly sickly. Loved reading your comparisons, was quite interesting, thank you!
