Thanks for letting us know you prefer to leave shortening out of your recipes, Sandy. The cream cheese frosting, Italian or Swiss Meringue buttercreams seem like something that would work well for you. We've shared your suggestion for a flour-based frosting to our Recipe Team for future consideration. In the meantime, we hope you'll give one of the above-mentioned frostings a whirl. Happy baking!
