I had to laugh when I saw this - you missed the best one! I bake my banana nut bread, and all quick breads, in a tea loaf pan that's about 3 1/2 inches across the bottom by 11 inches long. It bakes into a tall loaf and you can cut lots of nice slices that look great. The best thing about using a tea loaf pan is the loaf bakes completely. You never end up with a soggy middle and overdone outsides. The tea loaf pan takes about the same amount of batter as a regular 9 by 5 loaf pan so there is no need to convert any measurements. I've got a pan de mie pan and I'm going to try that one also. Thanks for the great article!
