So do you need to whip the heavy cream when making ice cream? I have made a batch that needs 2 cups of liquid for 4 serving only give me about 2 pints. A 8 serving recipe with 1 extra cup of liquid and 2 yolks less give me a much icer result but also give me 1 quart.
