My mango ice cream which calls for about 1.5 cups of fresh mango purée always turns out a bit icy. Is there anything I can do to improve this? I use Indian Alfonso mangoes which are only in season for about three months and I'd love to make a few batches for friends and family before they disappear for the year. Thank you.
