If you can't find regular heavy cream, you might consider using a recipe like our Frozen Custard, Carol, which calls for half & half. It has just the right amount of fat to create a final product that's rich without being cloying. Give this recipe a whirl and keep searching for heavy cream. We think you should be able to find it.
