Hi Riley! If there's a small amount of honey in the recipe, (less than 1/4 cup, for example) you can probably just leave it be, but if there's a lot, the amount of water in honey can range between 10% and 20% so you have a bit of wiggle room as far as how much of the tangzhong you want to account the honey for. So it's really up to you!
