I bought cake strips about 25 years ago (no Velcro, uses a t-pin) and loved them. Then I bought newer strips about 5 years ago. The newer strips are thinner than the old ones and I haven’t had as much luck with them. The old ones had the instruction to squeeze out excess water before placing on the pan. Do you need to do that with these newer strips? Perhaps that’s where my problem lies. Thoughts?
