Sounds like you're looking for buttercream, Rose. You can flavor buttercream any way you want (chocolate, raspberry, lemon, etc.) and it freezes beautifully (for up to 3 months). You can put a thin layer of buttercream between your cakes along with a cake soak or a thin layer of jam. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
