Hi Pral, we haven't had success trying to make an egg-free pastry cream since yolks are integral to the texture of pastry cream, but there is one option you could consider. Some brands of vanilla pudding mix don't include eggs or egg products so you could use that in a pinch, preparing it with half-&-half or heavy cream instead of milk. We realize it's not the same as making it from scratch, but we think some form of pastry cream is better than no pastry cream at all! As for other egg-less fillings that could be delicious in cake, consider using a classic buttercream jazzed up with a fruit puree or jam. Whipped cream that's lightly sweetened is also a fantastic, delicious, egg-free choice. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
