Hi Linda. We are sorry to hear of the popovers that didn't rise! While there could be a few causes for this, it may be that the batter simply did not get hot enough. Have you checked the accuracy of your oven with a thermometer? We ask because unfortunately it is not uncommon for ovens to bake at a slightly different temperature from what they are set to. If the oven does bake a bit cooler, you can try increasing the temperature you set your oven to by 25 to 50 degrees F. That extra heat can help the popovers rise to the occasion.
