Followed the recipe exactly & they came out perfect except they stuck to my popover pan. One came out fine but the rest stuck to greater & lesser degrees. I greased the popover pan liberally with shortening prior to baking. My popover pan has a non-stick coating. It is possible there are some micro-scratches in the pan that are causing the popovers to stick? When I first got the pan about 15 years ago, the popovers always came right out.
