I want to make this cake soon. As i read the recipe, i thought of what i could do with all those left over egg yolks- and i thought - key lime pie! Then i thought, split the layers and fill with key lime pie filling and frost as described....Key lime cake! I will let you know how it comes out,but it will be a while, i just had hand surgery and can't do much in the kitchen currently.
