If you have the arm strength and the time, Elizabeth, you're welcome to try! It will be difficult to incorporate the air with a spatula so it will likely take a lot of mixing. Even with all of the hard work and mixing, it's still possible the finished cake will be dense. A stand mixer or hand mixer will really be your best friend with a recipe like this. Annabelle@KAF
