I was recently tried to replicate biscuits k had from biscuits love. (https://www.cookingchanneltv.com/recipes/biscuit-love-golden-biscuits-2…). In their recipe it calls to melt the butter, whisk it in with the bloomed yest, and some buttermilk. I got the great golden color, but the biscuits came out flat and did not rise at all. Looking at the blogs, it doesn't look like it can work with melted butter and needs to be cooler. Do you have any advice on how to make this work?
