I worked in a restaurant/ deli in Kitty Hawk, NC. My key lime pie was a favorite. The tourists especially loved it. I could sell a pie that wasn't even made yet just by giving people a big spoonful of the Swiss meringue they saw me whipping. Had a couple of people actually offer to buy extra meringue!
But my Drunken Cherry Bread Pudding usually sold out within two hours of coming out of the oven. ( baked it in a hotel pan) Had people lined up for that treat!
