This was very helpful, thank you. I have several recipes I make in my bread machine, one in particular is a dough recipe for pizza crust and it always raises the lid as it proofs. While my machine says 1.5 lb, I noticed none of the recipes in the user manual go over 3 1/2 cups of flour and most are 3 or 3 1/4, so I’m going to work on modifying the recipes I like and see if I get better results.
