I have a Panasonic which I've had stored for at least 30 years. I recently resurrected it and started making whole wheat loaves using their recipe (uses molasses,) half King Arthur whole wheat and half white whole wheat. I get a perfect loaf every time. I use the whole wheat setting 8oz whole wheat flour, 8 oz white whole wheat, 1.5 T powdered whole milk, 1.5 t salt. I store all these dry ingredients in plastic containers, making 6 at a time and store them covered until I need. The, on the day I bake a loaf, I dump the dry ingredients into the bread machine, add 1.5 T chopped butter, 1.5 T molasses, 11 oz lukewarm water, close the lid, add 1.5 t instant yeast in the yeast dispenser, press go, and I have a beautiful loaf 5 hours later. I only make about 1 loaf a week now as my grown-up family lives elsewhere.
