My bread machine is at least 30 years old & it had not been used for 28 years. But I tried it anyway . I could not believe that it produced a perfect loaf of basic white bread. No maintenance had been done on machine in all those years. It ran as though I had been using it every day ! Now I do use it often. My question is regarding taking out paddle before bake cycle to avoid hole in loaf . It seems impossible to me. Maybe this is only possible in newer machines. Mine is Breadman 1 to 1/2 lb loaf from 30 years ago.
